Make Music Forever

Our Mission:

Our mission is to provide musical instruments free of charge to students currently enrolled in a K through 12th grade school in Washington State. Because an interest in music doesn't end when the school year ends, Make

Music Forever gives instruments to keep for a lifetime. Studies have shown that students who participate in school band or orchestra show improved scores in math and science, have increased self esteem, and lower instances of drug use. Make Music Forever firmly believes that arts and music have a place in education, and that no child should be denied that opportunity due to lack of funds.

History:

Make Music Forever was founded in August 2009, gained 501(c)(3) status in early 2010 and operates in the Seattle Metro Area. Although we accept donations from anywhere in the world, we primarily source our funds from Washington State, with the goal of local people helping local students.
